Terms of Service — RDV & Cie

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RDV & Cie (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. RDV & Cie is operated by Rendez-Vous & Cie Inc., incorporated in Quebec, Canada.

2. Description of Service

RDV & Cie is a SaaS booking platform that allows business owners ("Owners") to manage appointments, locations, and services, and allows clients ("Clients") to book appointments online.

3. Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Billing (Owners)

Business Owner accounts require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Transmit any viruses or malicious code
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the platform without our written consent

6. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings are subject to therapist availability. Clients may cancel appointments through the platform. Cancellation policies (including fees or notice periods) are set by individual business owners and communicated through the booking flow. RDV & Cie is not responsible for disputes between clients and business owners regarding cancellations or refunds.

7. Intellectual Property

The RDV & Cie platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Rendez-Vous & Cie Inc. and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload (business information, service descriptions) but grant us a license to display and use it to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rendez-Vous & Cie Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.

11. Marketplace

Business owners may opt in to list their profile on the public RDV & Cie marketplace. When listed, business name, description, services, and location information become publicly visible and indexed by search engines. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their public profile information. Uploaded images must not contain inappropriate content; RDV & Cie reserves the right to remove profiles that violate these terms. RDV & Cie may feature or promote publicly listed businesses in marketing materials.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
